The Financial Management Services (FMS) is responsible for providing direction with respect to financial matters; coordinates the preparation and compilation of the department’s fiscal year budget; and ensure compliance with statutes relative to fiscal issues. All financial transactions, financial reports, collection of deposit of monies from fees and other services are processed through the FMS. The FMS also provides financial assistance to the five divisions within DPHSS in order to maintain accountability of funds and to ensure that the preparation of all financial reports is conducted in compliance with cost-containment restrictions. The FMS serves as the finance liaison to the Bureau of Budget and Management Research and the Department of Administration.

Supply Office

The Supply Section is the central processing center for procurement and supply purposes and is responsible for the department’s procurement, issuance, storage, inventory, and maintenance of all supplies and equipment.
