Systems & Programming

The Systems and Programming Group (SPG) is the department’s data center and is responsible for the administration of information technology matters and support for computerization needs. The SPG aligns with the Office of Technology to ensure compliance with technology standards and procurement processes across GovGuam. SPG provides technical support to division staff and assists in data transmission program and financial data. SPG assists in the daily improvements of seamless integration with other government systems (financial management, income tax, hospital, court, motor vehicle, driver’s license) and federal initiatives such as electronic health records. This includes data information sharing and central health care information to be shared within other related healthcare providers. The SPG provides subject matter expertise in programming to meet federal mandates, data security requirement and video conferencing capabilities with healthcare providers.
