Guam Medical Cannabis Program

Held Guam’s first policy summit on January 29, 2026. The Guam Medical Cannabis Program serves as a vital resource for island residents by facilitating the registration of patients to ensure they receive the full medical use and benefits of therapeutic cannabis. To maintain a secure and transparent marketplace, the program is charged with tracking the movement of all cannabis products across the island using a rigorous "seed-to-sale" system that monitors every stage of production and distribution. Beyond patient services, the program acts as a regulatory guide, actively helping potential businesses navigate the complex legal framework governing the industry, an effort furthered by the hosting of Guam’s first Cannabis Industry Regulation Annual Summit. Since its inception, the program has successfully registered approximately 300 patients, marking a significant milestone in providing regulated access to alternative healthcare options on Guam.
